The finished results from Lost Foam Casting can be greatly improved with the additional use of plaster feeders and vents. As I demonstrate in this video below, these help keep the metal hotter for longer, make it easier for it to flow and fill its intended shape and, perhaps most critically, help to vent off unwanted gasses that would spoil the finish.
The process of making these feeders and vents is quite literally childs play as it involves for the most part just plaster of Paris, some plastic and rubber bands.
