Overall a good printer. Large selection of resin, which is very expensive! | Form 2 | no |
I like the printer, but it is just too expensive to operate. Resin tanks don't last long enough and they cost $100 a piece! You have to use their resins and they are VERY expensive, about $200 per 1L cartridge. | Form 2 | no |
Overpriced, the features are nice but not necessary. The Open-Mode is a joke. The price is horrendous. 110 would not recommend. | Form 2 | no |
Over priced, their resins are rubbish. | Form 2 | no |
impossible to maintain high costs expensive parts Serious glitches happen with every firmware update do not buy if you live in another country | Form 2 | no |
Maybe it can't measure in print quality to Sonic Mini 8K but printer is very "click-and-print" like. Preform (slicing software) lacks advanced support options like in lychee but it gets job done. | Form 2 | yes |
This is a fine printer if money is no issue. You buy it if you want to print without figuring out how to maintenance of the machine. | Form 2 | yes |
Beautifully designed with superior build quality and very user friendly software interface. Great for business and education environments, but harder to justify for hobby use due to relatively expensive consumables. | Form 2 | yes |
Excellent printer. VERY easy to use. Great quality. BUUUUUT, way too expensive, the resin is so expensive, and you are locked into their system. Great for anyone who has a lot of money and doesn't want to learn how 3D printing works and they just want to print. Bad for anyone else. | Form 3 | no |
It's a set and forget type printer, and the price reflects that. While the special materials are very nice they are expensive as hell. Would never buyuse this printer when not needing those special mats. | Form 3 | no |
Too expensive Resin. Risky printing if the tank fails. | Form 3 | no |
I use Formlabs 3 for the cure inhibition resistant resin. My customer base requires it. If it wasnt for that, I would have left years ago. Its not worth the bad customer service and the terrible life expectancy of ALL of their Formlab 3 products. | Form 3 | no |
I have really enjoyed using the printer, easy to set up, reliable, easy to use. | Form 3 | yes |
The Form 3 is a great printer for professional needs. Their consumables are expensive compared to the consumer market but everything just works and they have a wide array of mechanical resins which are excellent. My only gripe would be that I think their slicer needs better manual support options. | Form 3 | yes |
I recommend this printer with the understanding that money is no issue. It prints perfectly fine, but is priced nine times higher than comparable machines | Form 3 | yes |
The form 3 is an absolute workhorse i had a form 2 and this is just a machine that puts out without fuss, no smelly resins, no fiddling with third party software, no manual refill.. just a smooth experience most every time And when its not support bend over backwards to help you | Form 3 | yes |
Cost is high, from the hardware to the consumables. I use it at work which is where I recommend this printer. I wouldn't own it personally as to expensive to use but as a business if you can handle a lightly high cost and almost anyone can use the system. | Form 3 | yes |
expensive but so easy and reliable | Form 3 | yes |
The machines are complex and that makes the diagnosis and repair difficult. Much more downtime when compared to the regular Form 3 and really only useful for printing parts that are large in size, not large in quantity. | Form 3L | no |
