Worst vat + screw design ever. It's infuriating to screwunscrew them. Size of the build plate results in a ton of suction which leads to tons of failed prints. Build plat gets screwed on with a crank, and variations of where you stop tightening it seems to impact the leveling, resulting in failures | Jupiter | no |
The Jupiter is my favourite printer to use, built like a tank, an awesome door, LED lighting, massive build plate. The only issue is that at this size and 6k, the quality isn't as good as my other main printers - Saturn 2 and PSM8k. | Jupiter | yes |
Beast machine. Solid and sturdy. Takes two people to move. | Jupiter | yes |
NOT for beginners. As displayed on the Jupiter owners Facebook page a lot of people have tons of start up issues. It took me about 1-2 months of trial and mainly error before I got mostly positive results. Don't over tighten the build plate and use Chitubox pro vs Lychee was route to my salvation. | Jupiter | yes |
Haven't been using terribly long, but overall very impressed. | Jupiter | yes |
The Mars was fantastic for its time, but it's not currently worthwhile to buy a non-mono resin printer. | Mars | no |
This was my first resin printer but in 2023 I can't recommend it due to the mono screen and a light source that has since been surpassed. | Mars | no |
It is an old printer but still is able to produce surprisingly good quality! It does have some issues due to its age and being one of the first big consumer printers but if one is willing to read into 3d printing and make some effort it is doing an execellent job. | Mars | yes |
This was a pleasant printer when I was using it. Not so much anymore. I find the fumes and the extreme skin reaction to the slightest exposure to resin put me off. | Mars | yes |
Solid but older printer | Mars | yes |
Might be a little late to the game ) - this is a first generation hobby mSLA printer, and I think the prints are great, but obviously not like the current printers. But it has served me well for 4 years now. Only had to change FEP and Screen - and not, I believe, out of normal timeframes. | Mars | yes |
Cheap entry to the resin printers. Build quality great. usb-stick only connectivity and the lock down into the given slicer was a let down, but got better over time. | Mars | yes |
pricequality ratio is good | Mars | yes |
Considering it is one of the cheapest models out there I am rather happy. My main issue are saggy prints if they are not reasonably supported - Imho this is mostly a Slicer issue, which is related but not part of this poll. | Mars | yes |
It's worked great for the years I've owned 2 of them. I've printed a lot, no problems except the fan going out. Screens are still original and haven't failed yet. Knock on wood. Nice printers, although outdated now. I'd buy Elegoo printers again with no 2nd thoughts. | Mars | yes |
At the time of its release the original Mars was so much better than the competition. | Mars | yes |
like many machines and tools imported from China, this one should be regarded as something of a kit of parts, requiring the operator to rebuild and improve upon it. It works fine, and better performance is possible with modification. parts are inexpensive and available. | Mars | yes |
I wouldn't recommend it only because it's obsolete nowadays compared to what there is on the market. Still a good printer, though. | Mars 2 | no |
its quite good for the price | Mars 2 | yes |
Paid 99$, for the money it's a good printer. Printed some 112 scale model parts and a few bigger 14cm. Busts. Accuracy is good enough. | Mars 2 | yes |
it works well, even in a really cold enviorement it still prints just fine. Of course ive had some prints fail due to the cold | Mars 2 | yes |
Amazing considering the price. | Mars 2 | yes |
The Mars2 was my first printer, bought in 2021(sept) It has lover resolution than the never printers, but its still more than enough for my minis and smaller things. It came with a wonky "arm" but the seller(3dJake) took it back.and sent me a new one. All in all a great small first printer.A+ | Mars 2 | yes |
Cons weak z column and platform mount (could be more rigid); Lid is not that user friendly with the gasket; LED Cooling fan loud enough to keep the nighbours awake at nigh. Pros cheap; easy FEP replacement vat due to frame bracing film; | Mars 2 | yes |
Pretty good printer overall most of the times I get successful prints | Mars 2 | yes |
a good printer for a good price | Mars 2 | yes |
All around great entry-level printer with great value at the time I bought it. | Mars 2 | yes |
First resin printer, printer was good very details but breakening down after one month use, custmer service can not help | Mars 2 Pro | no |
Good printer, but better ones out there for your money | Mars 2 Pro | no |
Really dislike the ball joint. It WILL fail eventually. Despite reports of elegoo amazing support, they would not help me so I have a useless printer | Mars 2 Pro | no |
Despite being a tad "old" it's still a great bang for buck. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Solid printer for the price point | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Purchased the as my 1st printer and I was surprised at how good it was for the price. As a result of how good it was I then purchased a saturn 2 | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Missing nice features like remote printing capabilities and the air filter is garbage but mine lives in the garage so no problem there. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Good starter model. Very affordable, but has noticeable layer lines and some features lacking that are in newer models. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
This was my first printer and I have been very happy with it. Being a complete noob, I had no issues setting it up or printing right away. Any failures have been user error. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get into 3d resin printing but is not familiar with it. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
User-friendly, inexpensive resin printer that serves its purpose !! | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
As a first printer it's very forgiving. I made a lot of dumb mistakes believing "I knew better" and she'd take it in stride and keep working. Definitely recommend it. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Real workhorse, has been working hard for me over the last eight months. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
This is the first 3d resin printer I have ever had and although I am no way an expert I have found my printer easy to use and gives good results | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
I'm new at 3d printing and resin was the way I decided to start as I wanted replicas of historic art for my desk. So far I have been nothing but pleased. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
My only difficulties were putting prints on the printer with the slicer software. The Directions for putting prints onto the printer were written poorly. Thankfully there was support via You Tube and Other people's personal experiences. Better written Directions are needed. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
As close to set and forget setup as I've ever had. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Despite all limitations, it's a great entry level machine for resin printing, and has enabled many of my jewelry projects' success! | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Great beginner model. I experienced, as most people seem to, quite an initial learning curve. Doing s on this model was not too expensive as I had to replace several FEPs and even the build plate, as the flexi plates I stuck to the original were useless. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
For the price, the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro is a great machine. I've been having issues with the FEP film recently, but it's most likely an issue with my settings. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
A set of clean contacts to creat an alarm at finish of print would be usefull. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Build quality is great. Its sturdy and has a small foot print. My only issue is after a few printersmishaps with resin, the rubber "seal" on the bottom of the lid will get stuck and come off. The fans will always be on, even when not printing. So that can be annoying. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
I love the Mars2Pro. Great entry printer for people starting with resin. Major errors were my fault. The only complaints I have is the rubber rim on the case doesn't fit well, and that making sure firmware was upgraded correctly took some searching. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
First printer, no points of comparison. Air purifier does nothing for smell or fumes. Fan very noisy. Prints come out great and all parts are nicely accessible even for a layperson to maintain. Responds well to settings changes and does what you ask of it. Expectations are met, no bells or whistles. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
My first SLA printer. Been printing with FDM printers for years. I'm regreting that i did'nt tried SLA printing before. Nice details and alot of fun using the printer. | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Small printer, generally easy to use, but the ball joint plus the vat securement meant that I was releveling often and occasionally had the buildplate contact a side of the vat | Mars 2 Pro | yes |
Love my Mars 3,I have only ever had to relevel the bed on an FEP change. Its fast, quite and produces some amazing prints. The only negative I can think of is the corner of the vat designed to pour resin back out is just plain rubbish, there is no lip and resin like to run down the side of the vat. | Mars 3 | yes |
The bundle of Mars 3 and the Wash and Cure station is a great next level for anyone getting more serious about Resin printing. It's not the best but it is a workhorse of a machine. The plate levelling can be tricky to get right and some prints fail for no apparent reason. | Mars 3 | yes |
Great printer, it consistently puts out great prints and I hardly ever get any failures due to the machine. | Mars 3 | yes |
Cheap, fast, reliable, consistent nice printing | Mars 3 | yes |
Great starter printer. Builds confidence when your first dozen prints have no issues. All failures had nothing to do with the printer. | Mars 3 | yes |
While I understand your review issues, I haven't experienced any problems with the mechanical design of my Mars 3. I've been printing with it for over a year with no problems and I'm very happy with the results. | Mars 3 | yes |
Excellent, I use it for dental lab work, no problem so far. | Mars 3 | yes |
I have 2 of these. 7 noise level is for the pre-ordered version. The second one I bought much later and is a 9. | Mars 3 | yes |
Excellent printer, but i have early version of this model. I have sometimes issue with shifting layers. | Mars 3 | yes |
Overall a good printer and good print quality. | Mars 3 | yes |
I like it. It is the only printer I have and I don't have anybody else in my surrounding who also owns a resin 3D printer. So I feel like it is a pretty good machine overall, but I don't have a lot experience to compare it with. | Mars 3 | yes |
The 2 screw ball joint is inferior to the Anycubic 4 screw design. It goes out of alignment during tightening. There are no options for changing times or heights during printing. | Mars 3 | yes |
Good and consistent prints. Not great for higher viscosity resins due to weak Z arm. Terrible build plate attachment system (design is OKish but very poorly manufactured). | Mars 3 | yes |
I think this printer is great. prints wonderful with no problems. calibration is easy. I noticed the black color of the resin tank comes off, not a major issue. the plastic cover could have a handle for lifting it with one hand. I have yet to replace the screen, hope it is easy | Mars 3 | yes |
Love it and am amazed at the quality of the prints | Mars 3 | yes |
Very easy to setup and get started with. Learned resin 3D printing on this machine. | Mars 3 | yes |
Great printer | Mars 3 | yes |
2 non user fault failures is a little rough. Board replacement isn the most complicated task but I have a feeling 'most' users would find it overwhelming to have to do themselves. Not sure if I ended up with a lemon or my multiple failures are indicitive of the quality. Great support tho! | Mars 3 | yes |
I just hate its ballscrued buildplate its awful! I had to recaliblete my printer 10 times in a week before I bought flex plate. Its the biggest flaw in my opinion. If they went with 4 scrue design add nonlinear acceleration, instead of two stages and put not that LOUD fan on it than its best printer | Mars 3 Pro | no |
The printer is to fragile and not user friendly. The LCD screen breaks easy and I haven't understood where the screen protector that's supposed to follow along is, its just not there. Excellent prints though. | Mars 3 Pro | no |
Loud, fidely, unrelieble, hard to repair. Prints incredible but I spend more time on fixing that SH***T than printing! | Mars 3 Pro | no |
The resin printer itself is amazing, but the cleanup phase is far too involved for my "normie" friends | Mars 3 Pro | no |
it doesn't perform as well as its rivals, it's decently priced but the build quality is lower and the user forums had similar issues that was chalked up to "elegoos way". | Mars 3 Pro | no |
An easy to use machine with a fair price, amazing print quality and support! | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
It's a damn good work horse printer for a good price | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Its my first printer so I dont have anything to compare it too. But it works well for me at the moment | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Worked right out of the box. I worried that it was damaged because of bad handling and throwing by delivery people. Packed very well. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
It is my first 3d printer and I just started to have fun with it. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Only had one minor problem which was solved by a power cycling. Build qualitydesign could be better, but it's not bad. Overall a good experience. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
This is my first 3d printer. I had some problems getting my settings set for the water washable resin, wich was my fault but all is good now and it prints great. I mainly print 32 and 75 mm minatures. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Elegoo Mars 3 Pro is my first resin printer. I installed Wham Bam flex bed and Mach5ive screen protector before the first print. I prefered Lychee Slicer and paid for Pro license. I'm not having any issues at all. I needed to increase exposure time 10%. I wish fan was not running at idle... | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
My first resin printer. I have 2 FDM printers. The quality of the prints in comparison is fantastic. Not as noisy either. A bit messy but that is my own fault I suppose. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Great print quality and speed, I chalk it up to the Cob light source. Lots of splashing even reaching the top of the inside of the lid - Z wobble perhaps? | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
It's fine for budget printer | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Great little printer | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
I am brand new to 3d printing . I found the set up simple after watching several videos. Harder to find the resin setting but the stick setting are pretty good | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
It's easy to setup, easy to use, easy to clean and has worked flawlessly for me. A great price too. Even the harshest of British(London) weather when it was snowing with windows open at all times. All with Elegoo's Water Washable Resin. This has all convinced me to Saturn 2. That alone says a lot. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
The fan in the air purifier started to get louder and make some strange noises (failing?) after 2 weeks of light use. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
I have no complaints about the Mars 3 Pro . The printer worked right out of the box and was easy enough to set up . | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
It is a nice step up from the Mars 3. The resolution is great (ABS like resin) and the carbon filter works well. So well in fact I use that over the Mars 3 because it cuts down on the resin smell. The color screen is nice and it displays the current print better. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Been using this printer for about 2 months now printing on it in daily basis. While it does increase print times I've matched the Z height of my prints to the printers XY resolution of 35 microns and I honestly cant see any print lines (AA OFF or ON with grey lvl 0, blur 2 in chitubox). | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Great resin printer, with a slight plastic feeling. Print quality is great, just the carbon filter is noisy. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Printer works great. Awesome print quality. The noise level of the fans could be made queiter. | Mars 3 Pro | yes |
Light source array scatters light unevenly across the screen. Although I can't attribute many print failures to this, it does affect detail quality and can mean that tall, thin supports don't print all the way to the top. It has been a workhorse though, so can't complain too much. | Mars Pro | no |
This is my first (and only) resin printer, it works very well, never had a problem, fan is a bit loud and always on (even when not printing). Touchscreen is not super responsive and low quality, but overall for the price this printer is really good. | Mars Pro | no |
Great experience problem was resolved both times by sending out replacement parts without any trouble | Mars Ultra 4K | yes |
There is Z wobble but it still prints well. | Mars Ultra 4K | yes |
There is very slight z wobble but my print are still great. | Mars Ultra 4K | yes |
Fantastic printer right out of the box. 4 months with only 2 user related failures. Still on factory settings using the elegoo standard grey resin. | Saturn | yes |
Cheap fans going bad just the first two weeks into printing earn Elegoo both a lower build quality score and bad noise level score. A few pennies spent on even just slightly more reliable, quieter fans would go a long way in the overall score. | Saturn | yes |
Good printer and Good qualitativ printer. Not as Good as the mono x and looks cheaper build. Tank is To small and still quite too loud. | Saturn | yes |
Once it's dialled in, it's running steady. Reliable, with some design flaws, not a fan of the company's documentation or web presence. | Saturn | yes |
Only resin printer I have but it works really well | Saturn | yes |
I started with a Voxelab printer and then transitioned to the Saturn. Once I had my settins dialed in, my prints came out fantastic. | Saturn | yes |
I've run through over 30 bottles of resin and haven't had a single problem in over two years | Saturn | yes |
If I bought it now I would choose saturn 2 but Saturn is big enough for my need and with good enough quality prints to suit my need. Price is good as well | Saturn | yes |
The hood is a pain. When you lift it off it gets resin on it over time. I've updated mine to make it a door. It desperately needs a wifi connection to upload files. | Saturn | yes |
Good machine overall. Cons, the usb location is in a horrible location. And a non hinged cover allows resin to get on the inside of the cover when lifting it as it brushes against the build plate when lifting off or putting on. | Saturn | yes |
Large buildplate, relatively fast printing and good results make this a great choice. Especially happy about how easy and robust the leveling process is. | Saturn | yes |
PRO-TIP Update your printer software first to enjoy the best experience! I am not kidding! Great printer for D&D Dungeon Masters. You can print big, you can print small. You can print many, you can print few. Worth buying a second-hand Saturn as they're fairly priced these days. | Saturn | yes |
It's my second printer, and an excellent size for anyone looking to print miniatures or mass produce small objects like wax cast rings or, in my case, dice masters. It prints fast, sharp, and is very easy to dial in. | Saturn | yes |
nowt | Saturn | yes |
Excellent | Saturn | yes |
Of its competitive generation, it was the best medium format resin printer for ease of use, quality and price. | Saturn | yes |
Really good prints. I mean i really like when i pay for something what just work. I am printing a lot and preparing to open the business and elegoo's devices are just working and not make me trouble. | Saturn | yes |
It was a fantastic and reliable workhorse, though there's not much reason to buy one when the saturn 2 and 8k are as cheap as they are. | Saturn | yes |
Wonderful printer, works every time, tons of prints on it would recommend any elegoo resin printer based on my experience with this one. | Saturn | yes |
Good printer, I don't know any other printer yet so I can't compare | Saturn | yes |
Really great customer service, (I had the Z axis sensor fail and they sent me a new one a year later too.) It feels well made. Easy to maintain. | Saturn | yes |
It is an excellent printer and I have not had any issues beyond the o wa that I caused | Saturn | yes |
Good design, well made, some aspects require familiarity to get reliable prints. | Saturn | yes |
I recommend Elegoo to anyone who asks. I also have a Jupiter which has had 0 issues. | Saturn | yes |
A good but not perfect printer, that is affordable, with a good build volume and good print quality | Saturn | yes |
It's a bit obsolete, but that means low price for an awesome build volume. | Saturn | yes |
I absolutely despise the ballsocket plate leveling process. It's unreliable and needs constant releveling. Interior is tight leaving almost zero room for a heater unit which is required for my unit. I see odd artifacts at times that increase cleanup time. | Saturn | yes |
The Saturn 2 puts out exceptional prints at a good price, but it is far less reliable than either the SaturnSaturn S or the phrozen mighty 8k. It is much more difficult to level due to the finicky nature of the ball joint, and very frequently comes out of level. | Saturn 2 | no |
Although the print results are of very good quality, I am yet to have a print run without any failures, consistent print problems make for an unpleasant experience | Saturn 2 | no |
My mars3 prints perfectly but getting this s2 working cost me a full bottle of 8k resin | Saturn 2 | no |
I like the Saturn 2 but not keen on the bed level system vs the Jupiter, or the removable cover. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Very good value-for-money 8k mid sized printer. Produces great quality prints. Only quibble is the build plate which uses a ball joint screw instead of the 4-screw system found in Anycubic other brand printers. The plate easily gets misaligned and requires repeated leveling. | Saturn 2 | yes |
The quality that this printer puts out is amazing. Easily the best looking models I have ever seen. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I have recommeded the Elegoo brand to my brother and he recently bought the the Neptune 3 Plus FDM printer and he is very happy also. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I'm new to 3D printing and in fact only got my 3D printer last week so my experience is extremely limited, but as a new customer to the 3D printing, the only downside so far is the instructions were missing something I had to google to make sure what I'm doing is correct | Saturn 2 | yes |
Purchased as my 2nd printer after purchasing the mars2 Pro. Which prints excellent and now I want the Jupiter model. | Saturn 2 | yes |
May be it is too big for my use. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Wow! This printer is both easy to use and produces excellent prints. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Way better than saturn 1 | Saturn 2 | yes |
This printer is a dream to use. I heard all the smelly horror stories about resin printers but it isn't bad at all and I have really good paintable prints. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I have really enjoyed the elegoo Saturn 2 | Saturn 2 | yes |
A good piece of kit would like for the USB to be in the front but that can easily be fixed by moving the printer or using a USB extender. Helps with a flex plate and having the PTC heater. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Once it is dialed in, it is good. Probably not best for a 1st time 3D resin printer | Saturn 2 | yes |
Took some time to get dialed in, and occasionally settings need to be revamped. My printers are not in a climate controlled area, which contributes, but not an issue with my other printers (except the Phrozens, which are way worse in this regard.) | Saturn 2 | yes |
Easy to use and ready to go out of the Box in a couple minutes. Great quality and reliable so far | Saturn 2 | yes |
I'm a huge fan of this printer though I am a novice; my housemate with significantly more experience got a Saturn 2 a while ago and has been raving about it, which definitely helped me pick this model. Price is very good too. | Saturn 2 | yes |
This guy has been great! | Saturn 2 | yes |
I made the fan shutdown at start of the printer and at end of the print. Why they didn't, not a clue, it's a simple parameter that the printer remembers. | Saturn 2 | yes |
It is a very good first printer. | Saturn 2 | yes |
newbie here, have fdm printer for a while, been looking at resin printer for a long time, chose saturn 2 over m3 premium cuz anycubic's support reputation and apparent AA issues. 0 issues leveling, 0 issues adhering and getting stuff off plate. Workhorse. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I ran my printer for 2 months non stop. I didn't have a single failure and the machine continues to run beautifully. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Print quality is excellent, layer lines are virtually non-existent printing at 30um layer height. The problems I have with the printer are rather minor but worth noting -no spare nFep in package -vat is awkward to drain, pour spout is flush -the z-axis flexes on lift | Saturn 2 | yes |
Great medium printer, prints whole.units at a time. Large build plate, high quality prints with warm resin build plate sticks perfectly, exposure is important.Built like a tank.Did not dissapointđź‘Ť | Saturn 2 | yes |
My first 3d printer. I effing love this thing. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I upgraded from an OG Saturn, because although I was very happy with it I spend so much time on display models I wanted to treat myself. Absolutely love the Saturn 2, very happy with the purchase. | Saturn 2 | yes |
The lift off cover is annoying. A cover which has doors would be much better. Also a built in heater is definitely needed on all printers and should be a standard as temperature plays such a big part of success rate. I also expected it to have wireless connectivity. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Easily my favorite printer after the firmware fix. Few failures, glass screen protector. I ended up retiring my original Saturn and buying a second one. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Exceptional easy to set up. Print quality on a number of resin past expectations. Wish I had another one to do more work and easier time wise. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I enjoy the printer. I believe it is a good beginner resin printer and has excellent features and build quality for the money. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I have the first Saturn and the Saturn 2 is a nice upgrade! Look, Build Volume, It worked out of the box for me. | Saturn 2 | yes |
The printer is somewhat noisy but not too bad. What is a little annoying is the fan which is running at full speed even when the printer is done printing. Also, I wish Elegoo and other companies implemented the feature of automatic shutdown after the printer is idle after printing. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Second resin printer, replaced screen due to user error. Print quality is sublime. | Saturn 2 | yes |
The detail is surreal. The build quality seems great but I wish the lid was a little less finicky. Only thing I really wish it had was a heater for the vat and a USB connection so I could to straight to my pc. Excellent printer so far. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Wish the fan turned off when not printing & the plate needs roughing up with sandpaper. | Saturn 2 | yes |
This printer shows the convergence of professional quality printing and entry level pricing. I see a huge number of new users (amateur) coming to the hobby in the next year or two. Similar to DJI drones, the industry has hit a sweet spot between new tech, ease of use, and affordability. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Need more resin setting information, their spreadsheet is lacking. ENCLOSURE HEATER PLEASE! | Saturn 2 | yes |
This is my first 3rd printer and the ease of setup and use was great. I was up and printing in no time with few failures. When prints did fail it was do to settings or temp not the machine itself. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Excellent for the price. Terrible job at providing any directions or guidance on getting started. | Saturn 2 | yes |
If you receive a good unit and maintain it carefully (critically important), the print quality is excellent. I run a Saturn 2 in parallel with a high end B9 Core 530 DLP printer for super high resolution prints, and the Saturn 2 is capable of roughly 95%+ of the quality of the $10,000 Core 530. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Can be a bear to get prints to work, but when they do they are great. | Saturn 2 | yes |
I am very pleased with the printer. This is my first resin printer. I also have creality ender 3 v2. I had one problem with elegoo that they don't ship to Israel. The only way to get the printer is through Amazon. I had an incident the first time I put resin back into the bottle, I filled the w | Saturn 2 | yes |
I think that the GK Two offers better features, but at a significantly higher price point. I think that the Saturn 2 is an excellent printer, and being at the low end of the 10" 8k printer arena, it's a pretty solid option. My only real complaint is that stupid ball. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Only about 6-7 prints run so far but I have had a lot of success. The couple print failures I have had seem to be due user error or unhoned settings. | Saturn 2 | yes |
Good quality prints, easy to setup and use (I was printing actual models not test prints within 48hours). Fast printing | Saturn 2 | yes |
Printer seems good quality, good build, my case may be one in a million (shadowed or repeated details and badwet surfaces) not a good first buy. It may be a good printer but mine wasn't, hopefully things will change, but after 2 weeks, Elegoo support still hasn't found a solution to my issue | Saturn 8K | no |
Very sturdy build, good print quality | Saturn 8K | yes |
This printer worked well right out of the box, very satisfied with hardly an issue( other than human error, of course). | Saturn 8K | yes |
I was amazed how good it is and why Elegoo would make a product that is so close to Saturn 2 for less. | Saturn 8K | yes |
I had some issues getting z=0 to set, turns out the spring loaded plat need to be more compacted in order to account for the 1st layer spacing. It would have been nice to have this explained in the instructions, when i was setting the device up for the 1st time. Otherwise, the device kicks ass. | Saturn 8K | yes |
Great, easy to use SLA Printer with no unnecessary features that would only increase the price. Still, all the functions needed are there and are working flawlessly. Would recommend elegoo printers 100% of the time. They are great for starters, as well as for professionals! Very easy to setup & use! | Saturn 8K | yes |
I have had my Saturn 2 8k since it was released and have had no issues with it..as a matter of fact I love it! I watched one your videos reviewing this machin, and pulled the trigger. Glad I did..only thing I wish it came with was some proper ventilation..but it's all good with a Little creativity. | Saturn 8K | yes |
Love Elegoo and I wish the best for this company. I hope there upcoming printers continue to be great. My only criticism is the amount of printers they come out with. I think the Pro line could be removed with longer release time between printers so it feels less like they are trying to game thi | Saturn 8K | yes |
Extremely easy to set up out of the box. No QC issues with my machine. Ball screw build plate allows for aftermarket upgrades (Wham Bam Magnetic Flex Plate) without printing a Z stop. Using Elegoo Standard 8k Space Grey resin to great success, have not tested other resins yet. | Saturn 8K | yes |
This is my first printer because spent a year watching Vog's reviews before making my final decision. | Saturn 8K | yes |
I added a flex plate, that took a hot minute to get adjusted. But with a big volume like this, the flex plate is just great. I had trouble at first, but moment I only printed with 8k resin, I now have the most perfect prints. | Saturn 8K | yes |
As close as you're going to get to a plug and play resin 3D printer. | Saturn 8K | yes |
My only issue is after a print while detaching the build plate drips of resin fall on the printer. Make sure you leave the vat in so they don't get on the screen. | Saturn 8K | yes |
